Low Poly Rusty Wet Hatchet
This project focused on baking a high-poly model to a low-poly, with high-quality, realistic texturing constrained to a single UV tile. The hatchet's textures were entirely created from scratch in Substance Painter, based on a real hatchet I own. For added uniqueness, I experimented with a wet look, incorporating water droplets and condensation. I’m eager to apply this workflow to future projects.
Software used: Maya, Substance Painter, Arnold, Photoshop
